Zinnias are annual flowering plants that are native to Mexico but are now cultivated all around the world for their brightly colored flowers and ease of cultivation. They typically grow to a height of 1-3 feet, depending on the variety, and produce a profusion of vibrant, daisy-like flowers that bloom throughout the summer and into the fall.

Zinnia flowers come in a wide range of colors, including pink, red, orange, yellow, white, and bi-colored varieties. The flowers are typically around 2-4 inches in diameter and have a prominent central disk that is surrounded by ray-like petals.

Zinnias are a versatile and easy-to-grow plant that is suitable for a wide range of garden settings. They prefer a sunny location with well-draining soil and are relatively drought-tolerant once established. They are a great choice for adding color and texture to garden beds, borders, and containers, and they are also suitable for use as cut flowers.

In addition to their ornamental value, zinnias are also beneficial for attracting bees, butterflies, and other pollinators to the garden. They are also low-maintenance and relatively pest-resistant, making them a popular choice for gardeners of all skill levels.

Overall, zinnias are a cheerful and easy-to-grow plant that provides a profusion of colorful blooms throughout the summer and into the fall. With their wide range of colors and easy cultivation, they are a popular choice for gardeners and florists alike.
